One of the things that’s so powerful about Jenna’s story is that she almost didn’t become my client in the first place for a simple reason—she didn’t think her problems were “serious” enough to warrant help.

Like so many women, Jenna had come to believe that the PMS symptoms she experienced every month were normal. Even though her breasts were so tender that it hurt to hug anyone (!) and her moods were all over the place, she wasn’t sure it was a big enough problem for me to help her with. Once I assured her that it’s not normal to suffer with PMS every month and that she deserved to feel good throughout her entire cycle, she enthusiastically signed up.

And once I read her intake form I realized there was an even bigger issue that we needed to address. She was struggling with consistent digestive problems. She wrote:

My digestion is really not where it should be. If I’m really good with my diet it seems to stabilize and be okay. But, if I don’t eat for long periods of time I build up a lot of gas and my stomach literally starts to stick out like I’m pregnant and then when I do eat I get pain. I sometimes have loose stools or diarrhea. My bowel movements seem to be inconsistent. Some days I run like clockwork, other times I’m lucky to get one bowel movement. My digestion has been something that I’ve been working on for literally years. I’d love to get it to the point where I have little to no pain, ever, and I have normal bowel movements on a regular basis.

Additionally, her hands and feet were always FREEZING cold and she had started noticing that whenever she brushed her hair it seemed like lots and lots of hair was falling out and getting caught in the brush.

In less than 2 months, Jenna and I were able to turn not just one of these issues around—-but ALL of them.

We made some changes to her diet adding in healing foods to help boost her iron levels and removing a food that was causing her digestive symptoms. She used customized Traditional Chinese Medicine formulas that I matched to her needs, and also used some Western herbs in tincture form to help her cope with stress so she could unwind more easily at night and get better sleep.

But the best way to hear Jenna’s story is to listen to it for yourself. In the video series below, you’ll learn some of her secrets for stress-free productivity and putting yourself first. You’ll also get to hear about all of the positive changes that she experienced working with the herbs and healing foods.

What are the lessons you can draw from Jenna’s story?

I hope that she’ll inspire you to believe that healing is possible and that help is out there that’s right for your unique situation.
